. The customer should pay a deposit the amount of which will depend on the APARTMENT selected and may vary between 200 and 400eur. For long-term rentals, this quantity may be different. Please take note of the amount requested as a deposit for each APARTMENT on our website.
. On arrival at the APARTMENT you will be asked to make the deposit payment in full. Your deposit will be returned to you in full, once the owner has checked that the APARTMENT is in the same condition as it was when it was let.
. The 25% reservation fee must be paid by credit card. The balance must be paid in cash or by credit card on entering the APARTMENT.
. The reservation will be confirmed only when BarcelonaApartament has received the pre-payment and you have received e-mail confirmation from Barcelonaapartament.
. When Barcelonaapartament has confirmed the availability of the APARTMENT, the customer must pay 25% of the reservation by credit card.
. The remaining 75% must be paid IN cash or by credi tcard on entering the APARTMENT (remember: WITHOUT PAYMENT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE APARTMENT)

If you need to cancel a completely prepaid reservation, there is a cancellation charge, which caries depending on the time that you inform us of the cancellation (the number of days before your scheduled arrival). Please note that the 25% prepayment will not be refunded. Cancellations costs:
. 90 or more days before arrival: 25% of the total
. Less than 7 days before: 100% of the total
on the day of your arrival, the apartment will be available fro 15:00. If for any reason you plan to arrive before this time, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you before this time. Please bear in mind that arrivals after 21:00 may be subject to a surcharge of 30e.
Unless Barcelonaapartament and the customer have reached an alternative agreement, the customer and all guests should leave the apartment before 11:00 on the specified day. Should a later departure time be required, this should be specified on arrival and everything possible will be done to respect this request.
Cleaning of the apartment will be carried out before the arrival of every customer, on the day of departure the customer is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable state.
If desired, Barcelonaapartament offer an additional cleaning service which will be charged to the customer during the period of their stay.
Customers should inform Barcelonaapartament of how many people are included in the reservation. Where not agreed otherwise with Barcelonaapartament, only the number of people included in the reservation will have the right to occupy the apartment. Each apartment is has a certain number of occupants assigned to it and no more unless they are children of under 2 years old.
Where the obligations mentioned in the previous sections are violated, Barcelonaapartaments reserves the right to require the apartment to be vacated, and the customer shall have no right to claim for any kind of refund.
The customer who sings the contract is responsible for the correct and decent behaviour all the persons accompanying them. If this person or any of the accompanying people do not behave in an orderly and responsible manner, Barcelonaapartament reserves the right to ask the customer and their guests to leave the apartment immediately, and the customer shall not have any right to economic compensation.
Please bear in mind our Conditions of Use which are clearly specified, and state that any nuisance caused by loud music, any other type of noise or party are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Customers who area accommodated in Barcelonaapartament accommodation must be aware that in the case of complaints by neighbours of unreasonably loud music or parties on the property, or in cases where the police have to be called, the Barcelonaapartament company will vacate the apartment immediately during the day or night. In said cases there will be no right to reclaim payment of the deposit for damages to the rental deposit. Please also be aware that the rental of an Barcelonaapartament property implies the acceptance of the Conditions of Use, and it is expected that these will be complied with at all times. These Conditions of Use will be signed on entry to the apartment.
THE STIPULATED HOURS OF REST ARE FROM 22:00 TO 10:00.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding that these points are necessary since all of our properties are situated in residential buildings, and there is therefore a requirement to respect the rest time of the other neighbours. Parties are not allowed.
Responsibility
Neither Barcelonaapartament nor the owner shall be responsible for any direct or indirect damage that may be caused as a result of use of the apartment, including but not limited to: destruction of goods or premises, loss following fire, robbery or anti-social behaviour.
In the case of any clear violation of the obligations mentioned above, Barcelonaapartament reserves the right to use its own criteria to ask the customer to vacate the apartment, and the customer shall not have the right to any kind of refund.

While Barcelonaapartament does everything possible to maintain the accuracy and check these details whenever possible, Barcelonaapartament shall not be responsible for any error or omission which may occur. Furthermore, Barcelonaapartament reserves the right to change the information published on the website at any time, such as prices, descriptions and photos. Barcelonaapartament does not guarantee the state of or endorse any of the products or services published on its website.
Barcelonaapartament reserves the right to update any of the conditions of use at any time where this is requested, in accordance with the business activity of the company.

As guests of the house we hope that you will respect the rules of the apartment and the neighbourhood. The apartment must not be used for parties. It must only be used for sleeping, eating and relaxing, etc. Please read the rules thoroughly in order to avoid any problems. What we most want is for our customers to have a pleasant time during their stay in Barcelona.
Please do not smoke in the apartment. Smoke on the balcony if there is one, or, if there is no balcony, outside the apartment, and please do not throw cigarette ends in the street or on the floor.
Please respect the neighbours - there are people who have to get up early for work, so please be careful not to make a noise in the staircase or in the apartment. Parties are not allowed.

Monday to Friday from 10pm to 9am
Saturday and Sunday from 10pm to 10am
Please turn off the air conditioning and lights when you leave the apartment. We try to keep the costs down and save energy.
Advice for tourists: please make sure you close the doors when you leave the apartment. Also make sure that the street door is properly shut when you leave the building. Take out with you only what you need for the day. There are pickpockets operating in many of the tourist areas!
Please do not leave rubbish inside the apartment on the day you leave. You can throw it away in the street containers every evening from 8pm to 10pm.
Please remember that on the day you leave, you should vacate the apartment by 11am so that we can clean it ready for the next customers between 11am and 3pm. Please let us know if you need to leave the apartment later.

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once Barcelonaapartament has confirmed the availability of the apartment, you should make a prepayment of 25% of the total cost of the reservation via secure PAYPAL, as you will find indicated at the end of the reservation request form. l

Do I have to pay a deposit?

What happens if I break something?
We request that you contact Barcelonaapartment as soon as possible if you accidentally break something, so that we can repair or change the object and to decide whether we need to calculate the cost.
What are the arrival and departure times?
The apartment will be ready for you at 3pm. The departure time is 11am. If you need to depart later or enter earlier than these times please let us know before you arrive and we will do everything we can to meet your needs.
How do I receive the keys to the apartment?
When you arrive at your apartment in Barcelona, a member of Barcelonaapartament will be there to meet you, show you the apartment and give you the keys, so you have to get in touch with us 30 minutes before you arrive.
Can I drink the tap water?
Barcelona tap water is clean and safe to drink. However, in some areas it contains higher levels of sodium and some people may find it has a bitter taste. In general we recommend that you buy mineral water at the supermarket.
Who can help me if I need information during my stay?
During office hours a member of Barcelonaapartament will be able to help you with any information you need. Just call the telephone number indicated on the website. Outside office hours you can also contact us in case of emergency.
Will I need an adapter to use electrical equipment in the apartment?
No adapters are necessary for the use of European good within the apartment, except for those from the UK. If you want to use your own equipment from the UK or outside Europe then you will need an adapter. |
